Two Investments That Bring the Highest ROI for My Business

Investing in your business can be intimidating.

On today’s episode we talk all about where, when and what to invest in with your business to bring the highest return.

Invest in Your Client Experience

Whether you are a service based business or a product-based business, your customers are the lifeblood. Investing in them will keep them happy and have them referring their friends and family to you over and over again. This is one of the areas I love to spend money- leveling up our client experience. Here are some practical ways to invest in your clients’ experience.

  • Invest in a professional online presence. From your logo design to your website, your branding needs to be all about your customer. The logo should attract them, the colors should woo them, the website should convince them and you should convert them!

  • Invest in a Customer Relations Management System (CRM). At BrandWell, we use Honeybook because it offers a seamless and easy experience for our clients.

  • Invest in Client Gifts. Gifts go a long way… even something as simple as a thank you note. For ideas on client gifts, be sure to tune into the full episode.

There are many ways that you can invest in your client experience, and I share more on today’s episode.

Invest in your Team

Without my team, BrandWell wouldn’t be what it is today. I remember how intimidating it was when I hired my first designer. However, after going for it and seeing how amazing it was for my business, I quickly realized it was the best decision I could have made.

With that, a team is vital, to me and also BrandWell. As an owner, I want to make sure that my designers know how much they are valued and appreciated.

Whether that is through pay raises, gifts, acknowledgments or company retreats - there are so many ways to go the extra mile to give thanks and recognition to your team.

It is so important to anticipate the needs of your team and try to meet them before they have to ask you.

What is Right for You

For BrandWell, most of our business comes from referrals (about 40%); so we invest heavily in the client experience to make sure we keep getting those referrals and delivering the best experience to our clients.

For you, that could be something different that you know brings growth and return to your business. At the end of the day, as a business owner, you have to decide what is right for you and your business. Hiring a bookkeeper or business coach could help you best identify the things that are bringing ROI to your business.
