Brand & Web Designer (Remote/Contract):

We’re looking for a part-time Brand & Web Designer to lead the creative design experience for our clients, from brand identity through website design and launch. This role is part strategy, part creativity, and part client relationship-building. You’ll work directly with our clients to understand their vision, translate their ideas into a thoughtful and elevated visual identity, and bring that brand to life through a beautiful, strategic website.

Responsibilities:

You’ll create and refine brand identities that feel cohesive, strategic, and aligned with each client’s vision. This includes developing visual direction, typography, color palettes, and other brand elements that create a strong and recognizable identity.

You’ll design and build beautiful, user-friendly websites in Squarespace, translating each brand identity into a thoughtful digital experience. You’ll be responsible for creating page layouts, refining visual details, selecting imagery, and ensuring the overall website feels polished and intentional.

You’ll take projects from concept through completion, creating website mockups and design concepts, building pages within Squarespace, making updates and refinements, and ensuring each website is responsive and beautifully designed across desktop and mobile.

You’ll collaborate with our leadership team throughout the design process, confidently incorporating feedback while maintaining a strong creative point of view.

Requirements:

• You have a minimum of 2 years of professional Squarespace design experience

• You have professional experience with both brand identity and website design

• You have a strong eye for typography, layout, color, and overall aesthetics

• You understand how to create brands and websites that are not only beautiful, but strategic and functional

• You’re comfortable taking a project from concept through final website launch

• You’re organized, proactive, and thrive when you have ownership of your work

• You’re confident working in Squarespace and can troubleshoot design challenges independently

• You have excellent communication skills and can confidently collaborate with clients

• You’re detail-oriented and care about the little things that make a design feel polished

• You understand the female-founder, creative-business, and small-business space

• You’re excited about working with a small but amazing team of creative women

Hours & Compensation:

Part-time, contractor role | Compensation rate is dependent on level of experience.
